The Last Air Bender falls victim to what many movies based on existing story lines do; trying to please the already existing audience while leaving everyone else out in the cold. The writing was cheesy and rushed which made the story difficult to believe, and the acting subpar. The special effects were interesting but did not make up for the content that was lacking.
